A protest rally is taking place in front of the City Hall in Kutaisi. The protesters are demanding the lifting of the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and are planning to set up a tent.
According to civil activist Nika Narsia, the regulations in the country have nothing to do with medical issues and serve political purposes.
"Nothing positive has happened in the country for eight years, people have been starved, and now they are locked up in their homes," Nika Narsia said.
Law enforcers are mobilized in front of the City Hall.
