Rabies has been detected in the Kvemo Kartli region, Georgia.
As Report News Agency has been informed, stray dogs are carrying rabies in the Rustavi municipality and in the vicinity of the Akhali Sopeli of Gardabani municipality.
"Two cases of rabies have been reported in street dogs in January. All compulsory measures, including the mandatory vaccination and disinfection efforts, have already been carried out," the National Food Agency said.
