The organizers of the "Let's Return the Country" rally outside the Parliament have familiarized protesters with their requirements to the government, which are as follows: a) introduction of the Germany's electoral system the implementation of which will take three weeks and will need 76 votes instead of 113; b) snap elections held by the provisional government with this implying resignation of Gakharia's government.
As one of the rally organizer Zuka Berdzenishvili states, a simple and effective tool to call snap elections based on proportional representation is the so-called Germany's electoral system, which can be approved by the parliament in two weeks' time.
The protest rally on Rustaveli Avenue has ended; however, some protesters have remained in their tents so far.
