The Department of Human Rights Protection Quality Monitoring at the Ministry of Internal Affairs has held a presentation of recommendations developed for investigators. The goal of the recommendations is improvement of the quality of investigation of crimes committed on the basis of discriminative intolerance and implementation of the Guidelines of the practice systematization.
The Guidelines include the identification of the crimes of the mentioned category and efficient investigation.
In the process of the Guidelines development the Department successfully cooperated with European Union Experts, the Public Defender’s Office and local non-governmental organizations.
The presentation was open by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Nino Tsatsiashvili. Representatives of European Union, Ombudsman’s Office, public and private sector attended the event.
