The Ministry of Health has published binding recommendations for rail transport, which are as follows:
a) passengers in rail transport shall be subject to video or thermal screening, and the emergency plan shall be formulated.
b) information on the new coronavirus and preventive measures shall be placed in easily accessible places in service centers, public transport, and work areas to prevent the spread of the infection; people shall be informed of prophylactic measures against the viral transmission via audio and video equipment.
c) magazines, leaflets and newspapers may not be distributed, and travel pillows, headphones, and other items except for single-use personal items shall be banned.
d) hand disinfectant dispensers and disinfection barriers shall be placed in each coach, and safe distance between passengers shall be observed. Staff members shall wear face masks and minimize contact with passengers.
Additionally, tickets are recommended to be bought in advance so that queues can be avoided.
