The government started registering those who suffered from the pandemic. These are the people who will receive compensation from the government. According to Tamar Barkalaia, the Deputy Health Minister, only those who are self-employed should register. As for those who lost their jobs, they do not need to register.
"Employees who are unemployed or on unpaid leave have no obligation to register. They will automatically receive a compensation," Barkalaia said.
To register, those who suffered from the pandemic must fill in a special portal on the website of the Ministry of Health moh.gov.ge. After registration, they will get the money within ten working days.
Registration started today and will continue until July 1.
