Discussions on specific restrictions to be enforced are now underway, according to Bidzina Kulumbegov, Medical Doctor at Center of Allergy and Immunology said.

According to Kulumbegov, restrictions will presumably be effective in December and January. However, specific restrictions have not yet been determined.

Bidzina Kulumbegov added that a countrywide lockdown is not planned to be enforced.

Deputy Head of the NCDC Paata Imandze said that the final decision of new coronavirus restrictions would be publicized tomorrow.

Georgia recorded 3,128 cases in the past 24 hours to bring the total tally to 111,818. A total of 3,045 patients have recovered, with their number increasing to 92,215.

The country has registered 1,051 deaths (39 recent).
