Georgian public defender's representative Saba Brachveli has visited ex-pres. Mikheil Saakashvili at the Gori Military Hospital.
After leaving the hospital, Brachveli said that the ex-president had been diagnosed with a new disease.
''He is unwell and requires that he be allowed to meet other specialists, including the neurologist. However, his neurologist alleges that the treatment is going well,'' the ombudsman's representative said, adding that Saakashvili's personal physician has not yet been designated.
