Georgian third president Mikheil Saakashvili responded to father Iakob's statement saying that the Georgian man will not let UNM members return to Georgia and, if need be, he will grab a gun to fight against them.
Mikheil Saakashvili expressed hope that all religious leaders will distance themselves from ''father Iakob's unprecedently disgraceful statement.''
''I, as a member of the Georgian church, am insulted, together with other UNM members who believe in God, and together with all right-thinking people, and expect the Georgian church will respond to this incident immediately and adequately,'' Mikheil Saakashvili said in his social media post.
