The search operation is ongoing in the village of Jocho, the Khelvachauri Municipality, where citizens are located under landslides. The disaster destroyed a house and a car. According to preliminary information, there were three family members in the house and two people in the car.
According to the Chairperson of the Government of Adjara, Tornike Rizhvadze, search operations were carried out at the scene throughout the night. Both equipment and human resources are mobilized at the scene.
