The NCDC of Georgia has released the statement presented below:
''Registration for the second Sinovac vaccine dose is set to be launched in the country on 9 June 2021, while registration for both doses will be resumed on 14 June.
The second Sinovac dose is to be administered within 14-28 doses after receiving the first dose.
The Sinovac vaccine has been developed through traditional methods.
On June 1, the WHO gave emergency use authorization to the Sinovac vaccine.
Georgia received 100,000 doses of the vaccine on 29 April, with 17,199 citizens having so far received its first shot.
"To book a vaccine, visit booking.moh.gov.ge or call 1522," the National Center for Disease Control said.
