SOCAR Georgia Gas starts construction of gas distribution

SOCAR Georgia Gas has started the construction of a gas distribution network. The construction in the village of Ilmazlo, Kvemo Kartli region, is 13 145 meters long and includes several nearby settlements.

The SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev, Kvemo Kartli Governor Shota Rekhviashvili, Marneuli and Gardabani majoritarian candidate Zaur Dargali and other officials attended the ceremony.

The project will increase the number of potential users by 227. SOCAR Georgia Gas plans to complete gas distribution networks in 15 settlements in 2020 (13 in Kvemo Kartli and 2 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti) with a total length of 129 kilometers. Upon completion of this construction work, the number of potential customers will increase by 2 483.
