The Health and Social Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Georgia decided not to deny social assistance to socially vulnerable families whose scores are being re-examined. Dimitri Khundadze, the Chairperson of the Committee, made the statement at a briefing in the Parliament.
"While the families always received the money for the waiting period, the analysis of the facts showed that the period when they were no longer receiving assistance was great pressure. It is why we mobilized additional financial resources, and they will not have to wait," Dimitri Khundadze said.
