According to the State Security Service, near Gugutiantkari, the occupants illegally detained a village resident.
All the necessary mechanisms have already been activated, and a hotline has been set up in connection with the fact of illegal detention.
"On February 2 of this year, the occupation regime representatives illegally detained a resident of the village of Gugutiantkari, Gori Municipality. The incident was reported to the EUMM. International partners were also informed.
Illegal detentions significantly worsen the security situation along the occupation line, as well as in the occupied territories, and complicate the daily lives of the local population," the agency said.
Active work is underway to release the illegally detained person using the existing mechanisms.
