The renovation and exploration work of Surami Castle has been launched with the sponsorship of the National Agency of Cultural Heritage of Georgia.
Director General of the Cultural Heritage Agency Nika Antidze has posted this information on his Facebook page and published photos today.
‘The work at Surami Castle has been launched. The work will be divided in the following periods: archaeological examination, preparation of the renovation process based on the archaeological studies results and renovation under the project. The renovation is a long-term and interesting process,’ Antidze says in his Facebook post.
