Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia said that according to preliminary information, the vaccine in Georgia would become available on 22-29 March. Before late-March, the vaccination program involving Pfizer is set to start in the country.
In Gabunia's words, all further conditions for the Pfizer vaccine landing in Georgia have been specified, and Pfizer has been provided with detailed information on the centers at which the vaccine will be transported. "These medical institutions were selected long ago, and the corresponding information was sent to Pfizer's headquarters for final verification. The vaccine will be delivered on 22-29 March, and consequently, the vaccination program involving Pfizer will be launched before late-March," Gabunia declared.
