A student campaign called ''Let's Get Vaccinated for Each Other'' is being launched in Georgia.
At the initiative of medical students, the event will start in Vake park at 2 pm on 26 November. Medical University rector Zurab Vadachkoria has released a statement on the initiative online.
In Vadachkoria's words, vaccination is the only tool of survival that can bring the pandemic to an end.
''A total of 87% of Tbilisi Medical University and 93% of its academic personnel is fully vaccinated. This has resulted in the Tbilisi Medical University functioning non-remotely,'' Zurab Vadachkoria declared.
Within the framework of the campaign, students will wear facemasks and branded lab coats; they will gather in the Vake park and appeal to citizens to actively involve themselves in the vaccination process.
At the end of the action, campaigning students will call upon other universities to follow their lead.
