Tbilisi Pride representatives have issued a statement in which they express solidarity with the injured journalists and operators.

''On July 5, around 50 journalists and representatives of media outlets were injured following violent attacks.

We express our support and solidarity with representatives of media outlets injured in performing their duties.

We want to lay special emphasis on audacity, selflessness, solidarity, and civic responsibility, which media showed in covering a week-long Pride event and supporting queer issues,'' the statement reads.

The MIA of Georgia said today that following the investigation activities, they determined that violent crimes have been committed against 55 citizens, with 53 being representatives of different media outlets. Eight law-breaking citizens have been detained after they committed administrative offenses.
