The booster time for any vaccine is reduced to 3 months. The Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia said at a briefing held at the Ministry after the end of the Immunization Council.
As Gabunia explained, after the spread of the "Omicron" strain, the need for a booster dose became apparent.
"Today, the council recommended the possibility of receiving a booster dose for all vaccines from the third month. The process may actively start very soon. The decision will be reflected in the order of the Minister tomorrow, and from Monday, it will be possible for the population to get booster dose after the second dose," Tamar Gabunia said.
