The events of the recent period do not only harm the Church but also are directed against the state. This issue was discussed during the meeting of Ilia II and Bidzina Ivanishvili. The information is spread by the Patriarchy of Georgia.
“Bidzina Ivanishvili reviewed the scandalous events of the past period which were caused by irresponsible accusations followed by massive anxiety. It was also mentioned that the acts of this kind are not only directed against the Church but the state as a whole.
His Holiness from his side focused on other problems and challenges that the country is facing in the last period.
