Levan Ratiani, the Director of the First University Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University, says that a specific approach must be adopted to handle the epidemiological situation in Georgia.
"Our inability to help patients in need of care hurts me, which is why everyone must put their ambitions aside and go home if they cannot handle the process. The infection has spread countrywide, and now we rank first according to the virus dissemination per 100,000 residents," Ratiani said in his televised interview with the Political Formula.
Georgia recorded 3,958 cases in the past 24 hours to bring the total tally to 108,690. A total of 3,531 patients have recovered, with their number increasing to 89,170.
The country has registered 1,012 deaths (36 recent).
