Three people have been injured in an elevator accident in the city of Batumi. The elevator has reportedly plummeted some floors to the ground in an apartment building. The injured have already been hospitalized.
Locals said that a freight elevator, which was also used to transport passengers, fell after cables supporting it presumably snapped.
The investigation is underway under part 1 of article 240, envisaging violation of construction site safety precautions.
