"Three tourists died in an avalanche near Tetnuldi," the Mountain Resort Development Company told report.ge.
According to them, a group of Italian tourists was in the forbidden zone near Tetnuldi, where the avalanche occurred.
Four people survived the disaster, and six of them appeared to be under the snow.
"The rescue service responded immediately. They pulled two people without causing any harm, but the third tourist had multiple fractures. Unfortunately, rescuers found the remaining three people dead," the Mountain Resort Development Company said.
The Mountain Resorts Development Company is appealing to citizens to comply with safety regulations.
