Investigators may question Novak Djokovich, Serbian No. 1 tennis player, to get more information on Nikoloz Basilasvili's case. What information Djokovich may have has so far been unknown; however, Basilashvili's lawyer says that investigators may take an interest in those who participated in the U.S. Open Tennis Championship. Neka Dorokashvili created a scandal at the Championship once, and organizers had to call guards to get the situation under control.

Nikoloz Basilashvili, ranked 27th in the world and first in Georgia, was charged with assaulting his wife and was apprehended before his child.

Tbilisi City Court approved the defendant's motion and released him on GEL 100,000 bail.

Nikoloz Basilashvili issued a public apology after the incident.
