"Traffic is prohibited on the Mulakhi-Lasdili section," the Roads Department reports.
"Due to snow and ice, on the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road on 148-198 kilometers section (Mulakhi-Lasdili) of domestic importance, trailers, semi-trailers, and vehicles with a capacity of more than 30 seats are prohibited. The movement of other types of vehicles is permitted using anti-skid chains. Traffic with two or more leading bridges is free," the statement said.
According to them, on the 1-148 kilometers section (Zugdidi-Mulakhi) of the highway, traffic is free.
