According to the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Roads Department, and the National Environment Agency, the level of avalanche threat is average on the Gudauri (Posta) -Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (Russian border) of international importance, which is why all types of traffic are prohibited.
According to the National Environment Agency, the traffic on Mleta-Gudauri (Posta) and Stepantsminda-Larsi sections will be carried out in a non-stop mode. The movement will be carried out under the direct supervision and coordination of the patrol police.
