According to the Roads Department of Georgia, traffic on the Gudauri-Kobi section restored.
"At the moment, all types of transport on the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (Russian Federation border) are free. According to the National Environment Agency, traffic on the Gudauri (Posta) -Kobi section will only be possible through avalanche tunnels. Trailers, semi-trailer trucks, and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats will ride on the one section of the road in the tunnels. Patrol police will supervise and coordinate the process," the Roads Department of Georgia stated.
