"Traffic restricted on the Gudauri-Kobi section due to the avalanche," Roads Department of Georgia reported.
"According to the National Environment Agency, the danger level of avalanches increased due to the sharp rise of the temperature on the Gudauri (Posta) -Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (Russian Federation border), that is why all types of traffic are prohibited on this section," said the Agency.
According to them, traffic on the other sections of the road is free.
