Nino Javakhadze met with the board members of the project financed by the Embassy of Kingdom of the Netherlands. The activities of the “Trust strengthening between the police and the society” project were summarized and the future priorities were defined.
Representatives of corresponding departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Center for Strategy and Development of Georgia, involved in the project implementation, attended the meeting.
The goals of the project are deepening the cooperation between the population and the police and awareness raising on the law-enforcement officers’ institution.The project started in March of current year by implementing social activities as well as the visiting schools and universities.The communication strategy for the law-enforcement officers’ institute was developed.
