22nd patient died of coronavirus in Batumi, Georgia. The deceased is a 72-year-old man.
According to the clinical manager of the Batumi Republican Hospital, the patient had a severe stroke, which caused his death. The incident happened at about 20:00 yesterday.
He was admitted to a referral hospital, underwent a PCR examination, which confirmed COVID-19.
The patient got transferred from the referral hospital to the COVID center in Batumi on September 20, and on September 21, he died.
Another patient died of coronavirus in Georgia today. The 21st patient, an older woman, died in Kutaisi.
The number of people infected with coronavirus is 3 695, while the number of those recovered reaches 1 534.
