Out of three COVID-19 cases, i.e., suspected new coronavirus strains, two have not been confirmed.

As Director of Georgia’s National Center for Disease Control, Paata Imnadze, stated, the third examination’s result will be reported tomorrow.

“Fortunately, the new COVID variant is not more severe. It is faster transmissible, enters the human cells easier. But it does not differ from already available strains by its severity,’’ Imnadze told Georgia’s Public Broadcaster.
