Two villages of Bolinisi Municipality, Khatisopeli and Mushevani, are locked down. The decision is targeting the prevention of high risk of epidemic spread.

“The number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Bolnisi Municipality is eighty, including the nineteen new cases. Four persons of the Municipality have defeated the virus, two people have died.
The Bolnisi Public Health Center recommended to lock down Khatisopeli and Mushevani villages due to high epidemiological risk.
The Bolnisi Municipality has decided to follow the recommendation and closed these villages. Block posts, controlled by police, will be arranged at the entrance and exits of the villages. Transportation of medicaments and food products will be accomplished without interruptions. Bolnisi and Rachisubani, Kvemo Bolnisi, Savaneti, Balichi and Daba Kazreti villages of the region have already been declared the quarantine zones.
