A truck has reportedly crashed into a gas pipeline on Sukhishvili street, Varketili district, with this resulting in cutting off gas supplies to the first and third micro-districts of Varketili-3. Efforts to resolve the issue are being carried out, and the gas distribution company "Varketilair" is asking citizens to shut off main gas supplies at homes and be watchful.
The company also warns citizens against turning on their gas supplies immediately for security reasons.
The exiting issue may be resolved in two hours, but restoring the gas supply takes time, and, additionally, restoring the supply at night is prohibited under the legislation of Georgia, according to "Varketilair."
