The so-called trial of Vazha Gaprindashvili, detained by the de facto regime, is scheduled for 15:00 today.
According to David Asatiani, the Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, the lawyer will file a motion for the immediate release of the Georgian doctor during the trial.
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality of Georgia, noted that the Georgian side is doing everything for the doctor's immediate release.
Vazha Gaprindashvili was arrested on November 9, near the village of Orchosani. The de facto regime has launched a criminal case against the doctor. Tskhinvali's occupation regime has sentenced Vazha Gaprindashvili to a two-month pre-trial detention.
