"The ambulance crew responded to the call immediately," Amiran Gogitidze, the Head of Planning Quality and Call Management Department at Emergency Situations Coordination, said at the special briefing in the Ministry of Health.
Gogitidze stressed that the young man passed before the ambulance arrived at the scene.
"I want to emphasize that we responded to the incident immediately. Sudden heart failure implies sudden death. When our crew arrived, the patient was already dead," the Health Ministry officials said.
A young man, 21, who had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier, died in the Rustavi municipality today. He was treated at the COVID hotel and was sent home yesterday.
