According to the representative of the GNERC, Giorgi Pangani, the electricity and water bills have not been increased in Georgia.
The registration system changed due to which part of the citizens received two receipts.
Pangani says that for citizens who received two receipts, the Georgian National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission has extended the deadline until the end of the month to repay the debt.
"Because this system has changed, some citizens have received two receipts. I say again that in this case, the tax has not been increased. Whatever was in one receipt, it was simply split in two. Everything will be normalized from February," Giorgi Fangani said.
