According to Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia, Georgia is expected to launch universal vaccination in the third and fourth quarters of the current year.
''Our realistic vision is that universal vaccination will be possible to start in Georgia in the third and fourth quarters of 2021, with citizens now unable to register for vaccination managing to do so. We also will soon have an answer to Pfizer vaccine-related questions. We deem Novavax a promising vaccine. We are glad that citizens are actively involved in the process, sharing their positions with us and saying for which vaccine they want to opt,'' Tamar Gabunia said.
