Organizing massive wedding ceremonies, funerals, or jubilee parties will be forbidden before July 15, Anri Okhanashvili, the head of the Legal Issues Committee, said this in his statement. In his words, restriction measures may not be valid after July 15 as the government is authorized to implement these measures for not longer than this period of time, according to the law.
For now, wedding ceremonies, funerals, and jubilee parties are restricted to ten people.
In the case of arranging massive weddings, jubilee parties or funerals, natural persons will be fined GEL 2,000, and legal persons GEL 10,000. If these regulations are repeatedly defied, lawbreakers will be imprisoned
