According to the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, only asymptomatic infected people aged 18 to 65 will undergo treatment in the quarantine instead of the clinic.

However, according to the Minister, the patient with the virus should not have a chronic concomitant disease.

"We will not transfer minors, as well as patients over 65 to hotels. People between the ages of 18 and 65 who have an infection and do not have a concomitant disease, and are asymptomatic, can be treated at hotels.

At the first stage, three hotels have been allocated for this, which fully meet the conditions," Tikaradze said.

With the Ministry of Health's initiative and the Interagency Coordination Council's decision, asymptomatic patients are treated in hotels in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi instead of hospitals.
