NCDC Head of Georgia Amiran Gamkrelidze says that vaccinating children has not been placed on the agenda.
In his words, the vaccine effects on children have not yet been determined, with surveys still in progress.
''The US Food and Drug Administration has not yet given its approval; however, I confirm that that ending the pandemic will prove hard without subjecting children to this process. The good news is that children recover from the disease more quickly than adults, but they actively contribute to its spread,'' Mr. Gamkrelidze stated.
