A young woman who arrived with a child at the Marneuli Clinic tested positive on COVID-19. According to Bolnisi Mayor Davit Sherazadishvili, epidemiologists are trying to study the patient's close contacts and determine the source.
As for the child, the test did not have a positive result, although the child has suspicious symptoms and will undergo repeated testing.
The mother and child are from the village of Savaneti, Bolnisi Municipality.
