“There will be a zone system parking from March 10 on Baratashvili Street,” Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi, said.
The Mayor of the capital instructed the representatives of the relevant department to provide information to the population and place information booths on the site.
“We implemented two pilot projects last year regarding zone system parking, Kote Abkhazi Street, and Orbeliani Square. The reform is very successful. The next street where we want to take a similar approach is Baratashvili Street. Parking will be free for locals, but they must register their cars at the relevant portal,” Kaladze stated.
According to Kakha Kaladze, zone system parking will be free for persons with disabilities and electric vehicle owners.
