American athlete Ryan Crouser broke the world indoor shot put record, launching it 22.82 meters. International Association of Athletics Federations (World Athletics) spreads the information.
The 28-year-old broke the record during the domestic competition. Crouser improved the record set by its predecessor, the American Randy Barnes, in 1989.
Ryan Crouser became the 2016 Olympic champion in Rio de Janeiro, and in 2019 won a silver medal at the Doha World Championships.
