The Georgian Football Federation awarded Zviad Daraseli, Durmishkhan Chkhaidze, and Vladimer Oniani with special awards at the GFF Awards 2020 for their outstanding contribution to the development of Georgian football.
Zviad Daraseli
Zviad Daraseli has been actively involved in football for more than 40 years. In the 70s and 80s, he was the head of the department in the Georgian Football Division. He is one of the active supporters of the separation of the Georgian Football Federation from the Football Federation of the Soviet Union and one of the Football Federation's founders. He has been working for the Football Federation since 1990, where he is a member of the disciplinary committee.
Durmishkhan Chkhaidze
Durmishkhan Chkhaidze has been the President of the Guria Regional Football Federation for many years. Her name is connected with the initiation of the first wave of women's football in Georgia. One of the first Georgian women's football clubs, "Lanchkhuti," was founded by Durmishkhan Chkhaidze.
Vova Oniani
Oniani was born in Svaneti in 1948 but later settled in Lagodekhi, where his life got connected with football. He defended the dignity of Rustavi Metalurgia, Lagodekhi Hereti, and Lviv Carpathian at different times. Vova Oniani has been coaching since 1981 and has raised several candidates for the national team. Today he lives in Lagodekhi, where he trains 50 boys and 20 girls.
