Giorgi Chakvetadze's rival left K.A.A. Gent

20-year-old Canadian striker Jonathan David has left K.A.A. Gent.

The promising North American relocated to France and signed a contract with Lille OSC until the summer of 2025.

David scored 17 goals and eight assists in 27 matches in the Belgian championship last season. Giorgi Kvilitaia and Giorgi Chakvetadze defend the honor of K.A.A. Gent, and they consider Chakvetadze to play on David's position.

"This is a very good team with great players. I want to play and to progress, and I think this is the perfect place," David wrote.
