The last Judo Grand Slam of 2021 will be held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, on November 26-28.
Lasha Shavdatuashvili will take part in the tournament. Shavdatuashvili will be the most titled athlete at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, where 232 judokas from 42 countries from five continents will compete.
Lasha Shavdatuashvili is the winner of the London 2012 Olympic Games, and in 2021 he won the world championship in Budapest. The Georgian also has won a gold medal at the 2013 European Championship. This year, Lasha won the World Championship and became the first Georgian judoka to win gold medals at all three Olympics, Europe, and the world.
