A new stadium, which can accommodate 20,000 people and meets UEFA fourth category stadium standards, has been opened in the Batumi municipality.
The construction of the stadium, in which 500 people were employed, required GEL 141 million.
The stadium facade figures copy the movements of the Georgian folk dance "Khorumi" dancers, with a modern lighting system installed in it.
The newly opened stadium will attract more tourists to Batumi, promote a healthy lifestyle, and host different sports and cultural events.
