The best sportsmen of 2019 are named. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport passed the prizes to the best sportsmen of 2019. The event took place in the Palace of Ceremonies.
The candidates for eleven nominations of the best and fourteen special prizes are defined.
The President of Georgia revealed the best sportsmen of 2019. The titles of the best sportsmen were awarded last year’s gold medalists. It is noteworthy that it is the first time that Georgia has six World Champions of the Olympic Games.
The Georgian sportsmen collected over 1200 medals in 2019.
