Eleven people, including three children, died in the fire in the Czech city of Bohumin.
Six people died in the fire, and six more died in an attempt to escape by jumping from the balconies of the 11-floor building.
Ten people are injured, including two firefighters and a policeman.
According to Ivo Vondrak, region governor, the fire was set intentionally.
Witnesses say they saw a cuffed man accompanied by police. He admitted to setting fire to the building.
The Internal Minister, Ian Hamakek, said that this “big tragedy” was the result of a long confrontation between the neighbors.
