Six staff members engaged in Trump’s election campaign have contracted coronavirus, says Tim Murtaugh, the communication director of the pre-election campaign.

CNN informs that according to the protocol, the organizers of pre-election meetings in Tulsa city of Oklahoma State, personnel were tested for COVID. Six, out of hundreds of tests, proved to be the coronavirus-positive. The infected staff members are placed in quarantine.

According to Tim Murtaugh, the members tested positive for coronavirus infection did not attend the pre-election campaign. He also added that all attendees of the event got face masks and anti-septic liquids.

The event held in Tulsa was the first meeting of Trump with the electorate during the last months. The country Chief Epidemiologist, Anthony Fauci, says the massive meetings are not recommended. White House responded to Fauci, saying the people must have the right to choose whether to participate or not in the events of that kind.
